Our region’s residents have the economic means and cultural capital to lead active, healthy lives, and everyone benefits from a sustainable environment.
In 2050, Los Angeles will have the nation’s lowest obesity rates and every neighborhood will have access to healthy, affordable food. Every family will be able to afford quality health care and housing. And no families will face environmental health hazards because of where they live or how much money they make.
Combatting Homelessness One Mile at a Time
We will increase our impact on the population experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County in moving them toward self-sufficiency, by reconnecting them with their community and guiding them in obtaining sustainable employment. We provide workforce development opportunities that deepen existing abilities and provide new skills to our members, which increases their chances for employment and helps each reach his/her/their full potential.
